Bairavaa Movie Review.

Illayathalapathy Vijay`s latest film Bairavaa has been released. The film is directed by Bharathan who has earlier directed Vijay in Azhagiya Tamizh Makan and is produced by Vijaya productions. The film scheduled during the pongal season has been welcomed by the audience and is getting good response. Despite the Cinema Strike in Kerala the film managed to gran nearly 200 screens.

This is Vijay`s next release after the Bockbuster film Theri, This time Vijay has gone for a complete mass entertainer, Bairavaa is an action entertainer in which a daring debt collector transform into a man fighting a hard-core educational field criminal. After watching the film it felt that the film is made to entertain audience(especially Vijay fans). And Vijay`s energetic performance is the one thing that keeps you glued to the seats from the start to the end.The first half of the movie is filled with comedy, romancy and it also has a 20 minute long flashback, The flashback helps to draw attention to the Villain. For the 20 minutes you cannot see Vijay and after the flashback settles down then till the end of the first half you get a good watch, the first half ends with an action sequence. The second half is were the movie focuses on the story plot. Sentiments scene and dialogues in the first half of the movie were good. There are a few impressive scenes in the movie. The climax is the next element which becomes the highlight of the movie. Keerthy Suresh, as Vijay’s love interest, plays a good-natured and gleeful girl next door. Keerthy delivered a good performance. Meanwhile, Satish couldn`t deliver that amazing talent of humor he has. Some scenes were over dramatized. All the fight scenes were handled very neatly and Vijay’s body language is apt for every scene.M Sukumar who handled the cinematography did a great job with some great visuals and dynamic angles. Praveen KL who edited Bairavaa has done a good job. Music composed by Santhosh Narayanan and the BGM of the movie were good, the song Varlaam Vaa was superb. The song Papa Papa seems to be a favorite among the viewers as in the theater it seemed they enjoyed the song a lot. The fight scenes in the movie were well choreographed. Overall the film is a good entertainer and is a good watch.
